Getting started

• Install Profit & Live from the App Store on your iPhone. The Apple Watch app installs with it.
• Open the app and connect your account: MetaTrader 4/5, cTrader or OANDA.
• Open Profit & Live on your Apple Watch. Your live P&L appears within a few seconds.
• Funded or prop-firm account? Open Drawdown Guard in the app to load your firm's loss limits.

Connecting your account

MetaTrader 4 / 5: you need your account's Login number, Server and Investor password. The investor password is read-only: it lets Profit & Live see your trades but never place them. Prop firms show all three in their dashboard (usually under Credentials). Brokers send them in your welcome email, or you can set an investor password in MetaTrader under Tools → Options → Server → Change. No PC, VPS or EA is needed. The first connection can take up to 2 minutes.

cTrader: tap Connect cTrader and sign in with your cTrader ID. If you have several accounts, pick the one to show.

OANDA: enter your account ID and an API token from oanda.com → My Account → Manage API Access.

Drawdown Guard

Drawdown Guard shows how much room you have before your daily loss or max loss limit and buzzes your wrist at 50%, 80% and 100%. Pick your firm's preset (or Custom), confirm your account size and save. Firms change their rules, so check the numbers against your firm's dashboard. Every field can be edited.

Requirements

• iPhone with iOS 17 or later
• Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later

Alerts

Your watch can alert you when a trade opens or closes, when take profit or stop loss is hit, before high-impact news, and as you approach a Drawdown Guard limit. Allow notifications for Profit & Live in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Profit & Live.

Subscription & billing

Profit & Live Pro is billed by Apple through your Apple ID, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. To cancel or change plan: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Profit & Live. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Account & data

Profit & Live reads your account to show P&L and send alerts. It doesn't trade for you and never stores your MetaTrader or TradeLocker password. Connection tokens are encrypted in transit and at rest. To delete everything, tap Delete account at the bottom of the iPhone app. See our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

• Watch not updating: make sure your watch has Wi-Fi or cellular. Open Profit & Live on the watch once to wake it.
• "Your cTrader login expired": tap Reconnect cTrader in the iPhone app and sign in again.
• MetaTrader won't connect: check the login is the account number (digits only), the server name exactly matches MetaTrader (Settings → Account), and you used the investor password. Then try again after a minute.
• Wrong account showing: tap Switch account (or Reconnect) in the iPhone app and pick the right one.
• No alerts: check notifications are allowed for Profit & Live on your iPhone, and that Drawdown Guard is switched on for limit alerts.
